About Me:
Marie Jones brings 30 years of experience to her consulting engagements. For the Mendocino SBDC she provides land use planning, economic feasibility, development feasibility, and hospitality business expertise. She is dedicated to providing practical and implementable solutions that help your business be stronger and more resilient. She served as Community Development Director for the City of Fort Bragg for 13 years, worked for the San Francisco Partnership, Bay Area Economics, the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Institute, the Center for Economic Conversion, and Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services. She has a Masters in Urban Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelors in Environmental Studies and Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She currently serves on the Mendocino County Planning Commission, the Climate Action Committee, and the Mendocino Trail Stewards. She is the executive director of Jug Handle Creek Farms.
