Artists in Action: Your Art in Written Form

Oct 19 12:00 pm — 1:00 pm

Event Details

Supporting artists is essential for the health, growth, and innovation of our community. If you are an artist looking to take your art to the next level professionally or make your art your livelihood, join our Artists in Action webinars series, designed to give you the skills you need to turn passion into profit.

Do you have trouble explaining who you are and what you do as an artist? In this 1-hour workshop, we will practice writing about what we do, why we do it, and why it matters. Using simple, structured writing prompts, you will learn to craft a clear and meaningful elevator pitch and short artist statement that expresses your unique identity for your website, grants, publicity, or publications. Come ready to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard)!
